The location is a short walk from the Cathedral de Santiago de Compostella which is great (especially for those finishing the camino) The hotel is well kept - a nice combination of stone walls, .wooden/iron staircase as you enter the building. The hotel is quite compact with a combined dining area and a lounge downstairs. My son rang the hotel to ask the staff to leave a bottle of champagne with a card and nibbles in our room as a surprise, which they were more than happy to do. The breakfast is great value for €9. Lots of choice (meat, cheeses, rustic bread, croisants, cereal, fruit, Santiago cake, yoghurt, fresh orange juice, coffee/teas. We were on the 3rd floor and we could see over the roof tops taking in the hills and fields of Galicia. Would recommend for a weekend or more.

First and foremost, the staff were very personable, extremely helpful, and clearly enjoyed what they did; they made my stay exceptional. [They were flexible and were able to change my two-night stay into a five-night stay.] The location was terrific, and the rooms were a decent size with the right balance of old world charm and modern amenities. The breakfast was excellent; delicious, well-presented, and with a wide range of choices. [The hotel quickly became my home away from home during my awesome stay in Santiago de Compostela/Galicia.] I would definitely stay at this hotel during my next visit to Santiago de Compostela! Moitas grazas!

Second stay in this delightful small hotel. Great location a few minutes walk from the cathedral but in a generally quiet area. The staff are wonderful 😊 and are always willing to help. Breakfasts are fresh and plentiful and a good start to the day. We stayed in the attic room at the top of the building. It had a nice sofa area to relax in though you have to watch your head with the beams! The hotel has been very sensitively restored with lots of use of beautiful wood giving a very warm and cosy feel in the winter. We have stayed in other hotels in Santiago but this is by far our favourite. And we will be back.

Amazing accommodation, we definitely enjoyed our stay! It has a perfect location. It's close to the centre, however, it is in a quite quiet street. The room was spacious and clear. The juliet balcony was very lovely and we had a nice view on the sunset. We asked for a kettle to be in the room and the staff arranged that. They also explained how it is with parking in the city and directed us where to leave our car. I loved the nice touch at the end of our stay where they left a hand written thank you note and sweets. I'd definitely come back if I stay in Santiago!

Interesting, modern, small hotel close to the centre (main attractions only a few paces away). Spotlessly clean, quirky designer hotel housed in a smallish corner plot. You have to roll with limitations on space e.g. headroom in the rooms, and enjoy it for what it is - a great experience. Reception area full of interesting books and decor. Excellent breakfast and lovely friendly staff. Given that it's in central Santiago, parking would be too much to ask but large municipal car parks are c. 10 minutes walk away so no problem.
